Jesus the Perfect Sacrifice
So Jesus, the Son of the Living God, came to Earth as a Human, was crucified, buried, and on the third day rose again, was God’s own sacrifice for sin on behalf of mankind so that human beings could be reconciled with God. The only requirement on our part is to make Jesus our Lord and Savior and believe in him, then our sins will be forgiven and we will have a ticket to heaven and eternal life with the Father who loves us. All we have to do is RSVP the Father. – John 11:25
It’s very simple for us, unfortunately the vast majority of people will reject the invitation and live eternally separated from God in Hell, not because of a mean God, but because they refused to accept a free gift. Jesus said “Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it” – Mathew 7:13
So this is why we celebrate Easter or what many Christians call Resurrection Day, the day Jesus returned from the dead and gave us the promise of hope for our futures.
Jesus, The Only Way
Jesus said you must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. What does it mean to be born again? It means to give up your old life and start following Jesus, getting baptized and serving Him. Baptism is not a requirement for salvation, but it is a commandment of Jesus for His followers.
People will try to tell you there are many ways to God, but this is a lie of Satan propagated by people who don’t understand God’s word. Jesus said Himself “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” John 14:6. There is only ONE way to get to heaven, and it happens to be the easiest way with no religion involved.
You see, Jesus isn’t about religion, He’s about having a relationship with God. There is no work on our part to be done. So religious rituals and good works mean nothing without a relationship with Jesus Christ. Being a good person doesn’t cut it. If someone tells you there is another way to heaven without Jesus Christ, or that they will go to heaven because they are a good person, they are propagating a false religion.
